Convert Macintosh icons to Windows icons

Using IcoFX you can convert your Macintosh icons to Windows icons.

To convert Macintosh icons to Windows icons follow these steps:

1. Start IcoFX

2. Open your Macintosh icon (icns file) using the "File/Open" menu item.

3. Save the icon using the "File/Save As..." menu item. On the save dialog choose "Windows Icon (*.ico)" in the "Save as type" combo box.

Notes:

  • Using this method you can also convert your Windows icons to Macintosh icons.
  • You can convert more icons at once using the Batch Create Icons Or Cursors dialog ("Tools/Batch Create Icons Or Cursors..." menu item). For more information about the Batch Process dialog consult the help.
